Admission to the College of Coastal Georgia

Welcome to the College of Coastal Georgia, where we are eager to help you pursue your dreams! Rapid growth is taking place on our 193-acre campus, including structural expansion, increased academic offerings, and rising student enrollment.

Admission Information

The College of Coastal Georgia can help you acquire the skills, experience and credentials you need to advance in your career or to further your education. Coastal Georgia offers nine Bachelor's degrees and nearly 50 Associate's degrees – find one that's right for you.

Admission to the College of Coastal Georgia is an easy process when completed in a timely manner. The Office of Admissions provides information to high school students applying to Coastal Georgia and current college students who want to transfer CCGA. To apply online, click on "Apply Now" and complete the application for admission.

Admissions Process
If you follow the five step guide below, you will have a problem-free admission and registration experience. Our goal is to expedite the admissions process to ensure student satisfaction.
  1. Click here to fill out your Application. Applications are due 30 days prior to the start of the semester.
  2. Send all your educational transcripts (high school and/or college) and/or your GED scores to the Office of Admissions, College of Coastal Georgia, One College Drive, Brunswick, GA 31520.
  3. Send your Immunization Records. Click here to download immunization form. The State of Georgia requires that all public institutions look for the following immunizations: Adult Tetanus for all students, Hepatitis B if you are 18 or younger, Chicken pox (or history of the disease) if you were born after 1980, and 2 doses of Measles, Mumps & Rubella if you were born after 1957. Check with your local health department or family physician to locate your records or to receive a new immunization.
  4. Submit your official SAT or ACT scores. Students scoring a minimum of 430 SAT Critical Reading or 17 ACT English will be exempt from completing COMPASS placement testing in English; Students scoring a minimum of 400 SAT Math or 17 ACT Math will be exempt from completing COMPASS placement testing in Math.
  5. Verification of Lawful Presence. We will need to see your original birth certificate, driver's license, or passport.
